Add Features to Your Website

When designing your site consider who your customers are. What kind of data do they need? What kinds of data do they want to exchange? Do they need to be able to share ideas? Even with a site hosted on a commercial server you can give your customers collaborative tools like threaded discussion bulletin boards and online calendars. If you have your own server, you can build your site using XML to share data between applications. In either case before you build your site or redesign an existing one, give special consideration to how you can build it to give your customers tools to do their business.
