What do you need to install on your computer besides an anti-virus program to protect your privacy and data?
Answers:
This is the answer section of the exam. You can use the following information for study.1. A personal firewall program or firewall applicance
Try Again – This is a really good start. You do need a firewall. If you have a firewall make sure that you can control what leaves your computer. Spyware and malicious programs may be trying to send your data to someone else. If you don’t restrict outbound traffic, they will succeed.
2. Anti-spyware programs
Try Again – This is a really good start too. You do need to have anti-spyware software. A good free program is Spybot S&D or Ad-Aware. If you want to shell out a few bucks, you should look at Pest Patrol. Pest Patrol detects spyware, hacker tools, trojans, and more.
3. Both item 1 and 2 above
Best Answer – You need both a firewall and an anti-spyware program to eliminate most efforts to steal your data.
4. Nothing, I just need to be careful
